Victory Lane Karting is a very unique place. It features a 1/3 mile indoor track and speeds up to 45 miles and hour. It is also a fun time for kids and adults. The kids karts have a little less power than adults but do have a gearbox so the kids will feel like they race car drivers. There is also a racing school for kids that will teach them all the basics of accelerating, braking, steering and racing. Charlotte Motor Speedway is one of the great NASCAR tracks in the country. The track is a mile and a half track with a two mile road course, kart track, and 1/4 mile oval. It is just a beautiful track and grounds. The racing is intense and you get to see the best cars and the best drivers compete. The track has been around for over 50 years and is continually upgraded with new facilities all the time. It is not only a great NASCAR track, it also a fun place to camp with your tent or RV. There is a lot to do when you are there. You can take a tour of the pit, see how the track operates, or even drive a stock car. Come see one of the great southern plantations. Built in 1815 with no expense spared the mansion is spectacular. It went through a million dollar restoration that returned the plantation to its original grandeur. The original wood work and some of the original wall paper still exists.
